Hello Schön Ruhe Web Surfers, I am Kristen Hinze, the proud receptioinst at Schön Ruhe. I moved to Carmine, Texas, in 2004 from Houston, and I absolutely love living in the serene country atmosphere. I am the mother of two wonderful children, Ebony & Kori, so you can probably guess my hobbies: huge sports fan (playing catch), shopping till I drop (groceries), interior decorating (house cleaning), and gourmet cooking (mac-n-cheese). So you ask, how are you not stressed? I relax everyday at work. I experience "beauty rest for the mind, body, & soul" and would love to share that experience with you.

I came to The Woodlands, TX, from San Francisco, CA. I currently reside in the Lake Conroe area with my husband and two daughters. I have been with the spa since Lindsay opened.

As the esthetician with Schön Ruhe, I am extensively trained in Classic European Facials, Microdermabrasion, and peels. I also do full body waxing & wraps. All facials are custom tailored to the individual. My point of difference is that it's not just a facial, it's a luxurious mind & body experience, engaging all your senses. I have crafted all of my facials to be the ultimate in relaxation and pampering. This is not just a facial, it's an experience....

I have lived in Bellville since 1999 and totally love living in the country. I am married to my highschool sweetheart, David. We have two grown children and one almost grown (or so she thinks!). I have always enjoyed people, trying always to serve others better.

Christ is the strength in my life. I am so thankful to Him for Schön Ruhe. The peaceful & loving spirit apparent in everything here is such a refreshing retreat from the world around us. I look forward to meeting you when you visit our spa.

Sheila Osborn, massage therapist

I became a licensed massage therapist in 1994. I decided to change careers mid-stream due to the high stress level I was under and the negative effect it was having on my body. I had worked in an area of the rehabilitation field helping patients regain their independence following a disabling injury or illness. I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with good health and the ability it takes to be a massage therapist. One of the many lessons I have learned through life’s journey is you have to “honor yourself” by taking care of your body and soul before you can truly take care of others. Massage therapy really affords our minds and bodies the time to slow down, relax, & heal… I look forward to seeing you soon.

I moved from New Hampshire to Texas in June 2007. I am from a large family-- 3 sisters, 2 brothers, & 7 nieces & nephews. My mother is my biggest supporter in all that I am working to accomplish in my life. Hobbies: I love dancing.

Amanda Inglehart, hairstylist

I have been in the industry for 7 years, and am a firm believer in continuing education and client satisfaction. I am a graduate of the AVEDA Institute in Houston, and since graduating have devoted myself to helping guests look and feel beautiful. I have grown as a stylist and furthered my education by working in the Houston, Dallas, and Corpus Christi areas. I specialize in corrective and dimensional hair color, as well as precision cutting. I am here to meet your hair needs, and keep you up to speed on all the latest trends, products, and gadgets!

Tena Rae, promotions & makeover specialist, receptionist

Tena is a professional singer & songwriter. She is also a cosmetologist & make-over specialist with over 15 years experience. She has worked with Nashville celebrities, top models, brides, & many beautiful women of today. Her goal is to help her client find a total look that is original so they can look their very best.

Tena moved from Nashville, Tennessee, to take a break from the "Big City" & came back to Texas where all her family lives. God had great plans for her at that time & led her to the love of her life, Tony. They married & now reside in Brenham, Texas.
