About Schön Ruhe

The Scheel family has its roots in Brenham. Lindsay met Josh Scheel at A&M in College Station while Lindsay was a second year medical school student. They married a year later. Lindsay has always had a passion for health and wellness, and is a firm believer in preventative medicine and the connection between mind and body as it relates to health.

Josh & Lindsay decided to pursue Lindsay’s vision of a day spa, and what better place than Brenham, Texas-- Josh’s hometown and the place they hope to raise children one day. Lindsay’s medical background and passion for helping and nurturing others gives Schön Ruhe a distinct advantage over other spas—not only is cleanliness of utmost importance, but our mission is “to provide a healthy, nurturing environment in which those who enter can succumb to a loving and serene surrounding and leave feeling beautiful, rejuvenated, and emotionally nourished.”
